  ETHPOS is a proof of stake consensus algorithm introduced by Ethereum. As of now, only Ethereum (ETH) is compatible with ETHPOS. So if you want to stake your coins and earn rewards through ETHPOS, you'll need to have Ethereum in your wallet.
