Its price surged to nearly $20,000 in December 2017 and remained relatively high throughout 2018. Ethereum (ETH) also had a strong performance, reaching its peak value of over $1,400 in January 2018. Other cryptocurrencies that had high values in 2018 include Ripple (XRP), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), and Litecoin (LTC). These cryptocurrencies experienced significant growth during the cryptocurrency boom, but their values were subject to market fluctuations.
