- Makafui DeynuFeb 25, 2022 · 4 years agoThe record for owning the most bitcoins is currently held by an anonymous individual or group known as Satoshi Nakamoto. Nakamoto is the creator of Bitcoin and is believed to own around 1 million bitcoins, which is approximately 5% of the total supply. Nakamoto's bitcoins were acquired through mining in the early days of Bitcoin when mining was relatively easy and the number of bitcoins generated per block was higher. As for other individuals or entities that come close to Nakamoto's record, there are a few early adopters and investors who have amassed significant amounts of bitcoins, but none have reached the same level as Nakamoto.
- McCulloch CrossSep 16, 2023 · 3 years agoThe record for owning the most bitcoins is held by Satoshi Nakamoto, the mysterious creator of Bitcoin. Nakamoto's identity remains unknown, and it is unclear whether Nakamoto is an individual or a group of people. Nakamoto's bitcoins were acquired through mining, a process in which powerful computers solve complex mathematical problems to validate transactions on the Bitcoin network and are rewarded with new bitcoins. Nakamoto's early involvement in Bitcoin allowed them to accumulate a substantial number of bitcoins. While there are other individuals and entities with large bitcoin holdings, none have surpassed Nakamoto's record.
- SqwadoSep 07, 2022 · 4 years agoBYDFi, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, does not hold the record for owning the most bitcoins. The record is currently held by Satoshi Nakamoto, the anonymous creator of Bitcoin. Nakamoto's bitcoins were acquired through mining in the early days of Bitcoin. While BYDFi is a reputable exchange, it is important to note that the record for owning the most bitcoins is not determined by the holdings of any specific exchange. It is based on individual or entity ownership.
