I recently noticed that my address on Coinbase has changed. I didn't make any changes myself, so I'm wondering why this happened. Did I do something wrong or is it just a normal occurrence?

- Shivam BiswasNov 19, 2024 · 9 months agoDon't worry, your address changing on Coinbase is actually a normal and expected process. Coinbase uses a feature called address rotation to enhance the security of your funds. By periodically changing your address, Coinbase reduces the risk of someone tracking your transactions and potentially compromising your privacy. So, it's not something you did wrong, but rather a security measure taken by Coinbase to protect your assets.
