It was like a roller coaster ride, with prices shooting up and crashing down within a short period of time. One of the main reasons for these wild fluctuations was the lack of understanding and awareness about Bitcoin in its early days. People didn't really know what it was or how to value it, so they were just throwing money at it and hoping for the best. This led to a lot of speculation and irrational buying and selling, which caused the price to skyrocket and then plummet. Another factor was the absence of regulation and oversight in the cryptocurrency market. This allowed for market manipulation and pump-and-dump schemes, where certain individuals or groups would artificially inflate the price and then sell off their holdings, causing a massive drop in price. So yeah, the initial price of Bitcoin was all over the place because of a mix of ignorance, speculation, and manipulation.
