Why does Cash App require my address for cryptocurrency transactions? I'm curious about why they need my address when I'm just sending or receiving cryptocurrency. Can't they just use my wallet address?

Cash App requires your address for cryptocurrency transactions because it helps them comply with regulatory requirements. By collecting your address, they can verify your identity and ensure that you're not involved in any illegal activities. Additionally, having your address on file allows them to provide better customer support and resolve any issues that may arise during the transaction process.

Cash App requires your address for cryptocurrency transactions because it adds an extra layer of security to your transactions. By associating your address with your account, Cash App can detect any suspicious activity and take appropriate measures to protect your funds. This helps prevent unauthorized access and ensures that only you can initiate transactions from your account.

Cash App requires your address for cryptocurrency transactions to comply with Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations. These regulations are in place to prevent illegal activities such as money laundering and terrorist financing. By collecting your address, Cash App can verify your identity and ensure that you're not using their platform for any illicit purposes. It's a standard practice in the cryptocurrency industry to collect user information for regulatory compliance.
