I'm trying to enable 2-step verification on Coinbase, but it's not working for me. Every time I try to set it up, I encounter an error message or the verification code doesn't work. What could be the reason behind Coinbase's 2-step verification not working for me?

There could be several reasons why Coinbase's 2-step verification is not working for you. Firstly, make sure you have entered the correct phone number and country code. Additionally, check if your phone has a stable internet connection, as this could affect the delivery of the verification code. If you're still experiencing issues, try clearing your browser cache and cookies, or using a different browser. If the problem persists, contact Coinbase's customer support for further assistance.

I had a similar issue with Coinbase's 2-step verification, and it turned out that my phone's time was not synced correctly. Make sure your phone's time is set to automatic or manually adjust it to the correct time. This can sometimes resolve verification code issues.

At BYDFi, we have encountered cases where Coinbase's 2-step verification doesn't work due to compatibility issues with certain mobile devices. If you're using an older phone or operating system, try updating your device's software to the latest version. Alternatively, you can use a different authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator or Authy, to generate the verification codes for Coinbase.
