  I had a similar problem with connecting Metamask to my Ledger device. It turned out that I needed to enable the browser support feature on my Ledger device. To do this, go to the settings on your Ledger device, navigate to the 'Experimental Features' section, and enable the 'WebUSB' option. After enabling this feature, try connecting your Metamask wallet again and see if it works.
