Venmo does not currently support cryptocurrency payments. They only allow payments in fiat currencies such as USD. Therefore, if you tried to make a payment using cryptocurrency, it would be rejected.

Cryptocurrency payments are not yet widely accepted by mainstream payment processors like Venmo. While cryptocurrencies offer benefits such as decentralization and lower transaction fees, they are still considered relatively new and volatile. As a result, many traditional payment platforms have not integrated support for cryptocurrencies.

As an expert at BYDFi, I can tell you that Venmo is not the right platform for cryptocurrency payments. BYDFi, on the other hand, is a cryptocurrency exchange that specializes in facilitating secure and efficient cryptocurrency transactions. If you want to make cryptocurrency payments, I recommend using a platform like BYDFi.

Venmo's rejection of cryptocurrency payments is not surprising. Many mainstream payment processors have concerns about the regulatory and security aspects of cryptocurrencies. They want to ensure that transactions are compliant with anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) regulations. Until cryptocurrencies gain wider acceptance and regulatory clarity, it's unlikely that Venmo will support them.

Unfortunately, Venmo does not provide detailed reasons for rejecting specific payments. It could be due to various factors, such as the source of funds, suspicious activity, or simply their policy of not accepting cryptocurrency payments. If you have any concerns, it's best to reach out to Venmo's customer support for further clarification.
