- Gabriel S. MoreiraOct 25, 2020 · 5 years agoThere could be several reasons why your GPU is not showing up in the task manager when mining cryptocurrencies. One possibility is that your GPU drivers are not properly installed or up to date. Make sure to download and install the latest drivers for your specific GPU model. Another reason could be that your GPU is not compatible with the mining software you are using. Check the software requirements and make sure your GPU meets them. Additionally, it's possible that your GPU is being used by another process or application, preventing it from being detected by the task manager. Try closing any unnecessary applications and see if that resolves the issue.
- rajeshJan 23, 2022 · 4 years agoWell, it seems like your GPU is playing hide and seek with the task manager! Jokes aside, there are a few things you can check to troubleshoot this issue. First, make sure that your GPU is properly connected to your computer and powered on. Sometimes a loose connection can cause detection problems. Next, check if your GPU is enabled in the BIOS settings. If it's disabled, enable it and restart your computer. Lastly, try using a different mining software to see if the issue persists. Sometimes certain software may have compatibility issues with specific GPUs.
- PascaldaAug 23, 2020 · 6 years agoIt's frustrating when your GPU doesn't show up in the task manager, especially when you're trying to mine cryptocurrencies. This issue can be caused by various factors. One common reason is that the mining software you're using doesn't support your GPU model. But don't worry, there are a few things you can try to fix this. First, make sure that your GPU is properly connected to your motherboard and that all cables are securely plugged in. If that doesn't work, try updating your GPU drivers to the latest version. You can usually find the drivers on the manufacturer's website.
