- houssamFeb 14, 2022 · 4 years agoA transaction can be marked as pending in the context of cryptocurrencies due to network congestion. When there are many transactions being processed at the same time, the network may become congested, causing delays in transaction confirmation. This can result in transactions being marked as pending until there is sufficient network capacity to process them.
- chuanciNov 02, 2025 · 5 months agoIn some cases, a transaction may be marked as pending if there are insufficient transaction fees attached to it. Miners prioritize transactions with higher fees, so if a transaction has a low fee or no fee at all, it may take longer to be confirmed and remain in a pending state.
- Patrick ThorntonNov 21, 2024 · a year agoWhen a transaction is marked as pending in the context of cryptocurrencies, it means that the transaction has been broadcasted to the network but has not yet been included in a block. This can happen due to various reasons, such as network congestion, low transaction fees, or other factors that affect the transaction's priority. Once the transaction is included in a block and confirmed by the network, it will no longer be marked as pending.
