BYDFi Card – Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)


1. Card Fees

2. Supported Cryptocurrencies

  • Currently, only USDT is supported for transfers to the Card account.
  • This is a USD-denominated card and can be used globally anywhere Visa is accepted.


3. Card Type

The BYDFi Card is a Debit card with the Visa logo. Please ensure sufficient balance in your card account before making any payments.


4. Supported Payment Methods

  • Compatible with major payment systems: Google Pay, PayPal, POS, etc.
  • Can be linked to Uber or Grab, subject to each platform’s risk control policies.


5. Withdrawal Limitations

  • Virtual cards do not support ATM withdrawals.


6. Monthly Fee Policy

  • Monthly fees are automatically deducted at the start of each month.
  • If deduction fails, the amount will be reattempted in the following month.

7. Card Activation & Delivery

  • Virtual cards are activated instantly—no setup required.

9. Card Validity & Renewal

  • Card validity: 3 years (36 months)
  • For virtual cards, the card number remains the same upon expiry. The system will automatically update the CVV and expiration date 2 weeks prior to expiry.


10. Billing Management

  • All billing information is updated in real-time by a third-party system.
  • Users can view up to 3 months of transaction history via their personal account.


11. Card Freezing

  • Users can manually freeze their cards via account settings.
  • During the freeze period, all payments are disabled.
  • Monthly fees will still be charged while the card is frozen.
  • Internal transfers (e.g., from Spot Wallet to Card Wallet) remain available during this period.


12. Card Cancellation Policy

For VIP < 2:

  • If the card balance is insufficient for monthly fee deductions for 3 consecutive months, the card will be automatically canceled.

For VIP ≥ 2 with card balance < 1 USDT:

The system will evaluate the following:

  • Has there been any top-up in the past 12 months?
  • Are there any transaction records?
  • Are there any monthly fee deductions recorded?
  • If all criteria are unmet, the system will auto-transfer the remaining balance and cancel the card.

Users may also manually cancel the card at any time.


13. Common Payment Failures

  • Insufficient balance
  • Exceeded spending limits (per transaction or daily)
  • 3DS authentication not completed
  • Mismatch between payment platform billing address and the one used during card application
